The heads of the African contracting unions for building and construction contractors during their visit to Rod El Farag Axis and Tahya Masr Bridge crossing over the River Nile which registered in Guinness World Records as the world's widest cable-stayed bridge. They expressed their astonishment with this huge achievement which executed by the Arab Contractors Company with Egyptian experience. Eng. Malik Ali Dongola -the Chairman of the Sudanese Contractors and the Vice Chairman of the Federation of Arab Contractors said that the Arab Contractors Company is one of the leading companies in bridges in Egypt and the Middle East. Besides, it has an honorable prequalification in Sudan and the African countries. He thanked the AC company and its board which urged the young engineers to participate in the execution of this giant edifice to acquire experiences and implement it with highly accuracy and abilities. The Chairman of the Ugandan Union expressed his happiness with this project which implemented by the Arab Contractors Company and added to its records book of achievements. He described the company’ sons as “the African pharos”. He said that this project is considered a trust certificate on the abilities of the Egyptian companies to expand in Africa and enhance its strength for international competition. The chairmen of the unions were accompanied during their visit, which was in the margins of the 5th Builders of Egypt Forum, by Eng. Osama Kamal - Member if the Executive Board if the company, Eng. Hassan Moustafa - Head of the Bridges and Specialized Structures and Eng. Amany Khodeir - Head of Africa Projects’ Follow Up Department.
