Eng. Mohsen Salah - CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company and Eng. Sherif El Sherbeeny - Head of the Development Authority for 6 October City visited the development project of the city entrances and the Second sector of El Wahat-El Fayoum road to follow up the work progress and discuss all the details and the time schedule related to the execution. They were accompanied by Eng. Sayed Farouk - Senior Vice Chairman, Eng. Mofida Allam – the Roads Consultant in the AC and Supervisor of the Laboratory Sector, Eng. Hesham El Sebaay - Assistant of the Board Member, Eng. Ashraf Attiya - Head of the Road Sector, Eng. Hassan Moustafa - Manager of the Bridges and Specialized Structures Department, Enf. Yasser Abdel Aal - Manager of the Upper Egypt Roads and Eng. Yasser Sadeq - the Manager of the Project Management. It is noteworthy that the participating departments in the execution of the project are: the Bridges Sector - Upper Egypt Roads Departments - Ismailia Shipyard - the Ordinary Works Department. The project starts from El Wahat road intersection with El Fayoum Road and extends for 28km length towards El Wahat direction. It is including the execution of the service road on both sides of El Wahat Road with 28km length and 16.2m width for each side. In addition to these, there is the execution of 4 bridges: the bridge no. 18 to serve the Social Housing project (800 feddans) which is completed; the asphalt works for the bridge no. 6 to serve the comer from Dahshour North Road and ahead to El Fayoum Road, Al Esaaf Building and the bridge no. 3 to/from Giza - El Fayoum Road to serve October’ districts and the electricity station.Currently the work is ongoing in bridge no. 2 to link between El Wahat Road and Dahshour Southern Connection; besides the construction of 6 pedestrian bridges, 5 bus stations, the lighting works for all the new roads and bridges, rain drainage works, the irrigation and afforestation works for the middle islands between the new and the existing roads on El Wahat Road.
