The Prime Minister - Dr. Moustafa Madbouli thanked the Arab Contractors Company and its workers whom are proving that the company is the title of achievement and quality in projects implementation. Besides, it is the arm of the state in construction and development. Nowadays, the AC is the responsible for carrying out the mega national projects all over Egypt with the other public and private contracting companies. He stated that the building and construction sector is currently witnessing a great renaissance. This was stated during the Prime Minister visit to inspect the finishing of the upgrading works for Cairo International Stadium in preparation for the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON 2019) which will be in Egypt by next June. This was in the presence of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi – the Minister of Youth and Sport, Major Gen. Mohamed El-Assar, Major Gen. Aly Darweesh – Head of Cairo Stadium Authority, Eng. Mohsen Salah – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Emam Afify – the Vice Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Ahmed Abbass – the AC Board Member, Eng. Sayed Shendi– Head of Greater Cairo Sector and Officials from the Engineering Authority for the Armed Forces. The Prime Minister and his companions toured the stadium facilities starting from the main cabin which was developed and completed, in addition to the development of the roads surrounding the Cairo Stadium, the construction of a road connecting Al Fangari Street and Youssef Abbass Street to facilitate traffic and ease access to the stadium. During the visit they explored the development works in the stadium’s facilities, which will be used for reception and hospitality, as well as changing some areas, adding new changing rooms and accomplishing the requirements of the African Union in the stadium. The Prime Minister inspected the stadium's playground to be perfect by the launching of the championship. Moreover, he assured the perfect finalization of the development works for the players' changing rooms, and the decoration of the main cabin's entrance.
