Major General Eng. Ihab Khedr – Chairman of the National Authority for Water and Wastewater accompanied by Eng. Emam Afify – Vice Chairman was in an inspection visit to a number of wastewater projects in Aswan's villages and cities which include El Redisa city, villages of Koujoj, Mouisatt and El Mahameed. This was in the presence of Eng. Samir Saad Allah – Member of the Executive Board, Eng. Mahmoud El Sharnouby – Head of Electromechanical Projects' Sector and Eng. Mohammed El Shehaby – Branch Manager of South Valley. Eng. Mohammed El Moghazy – the Project Manager declared that the project of El Koujoj Wastewater Project's scope of work includes: the construction of gravity sewers for 28km, a pumping station, a drain line 6km, oxidation lagoon treatment plant, tertiary treatment unit and the drain line. He added that the project capacity is 9000m3/day with a total value 180 million EGP. Eng. Mohammed Eid Fadhl – the Deputy Project Manager stated that the project is serving Koujoj Village and will serve other villages of Slwa, El Madeq, El Aalaqy, Qourta, Garf Hussein, Maria, Abou Hour and Kalabsha City. Eng. Mosalem Ahmed Abdel Naem – the Project Manager of El Mouisatt Plant declared that the project includes a gravity sewers 12km length, a pumping station and a drain line; the project total value is 35 million EGP. Eng. Amir Nour El Din – the Project Manager of El Redisa Waster Water stated that the project includes gravity sewers 36km length, 3 pumping stations, 3 drain lines, a treatment plant includes the final drain line with a total value 102 million EGP serving El Redisa City and its surroundings of Khor El Zaq, El Retag and El Malikia. He pointed out that El Mahameed Wastewater Project has a gravity sewer 22km length, 2 pumping stations and 2 drain lines with a total value 31 million EGP and serving El Mahameed and El Ladeed Villages.
