Eng.Ibrahim Mohammed Al Sultan – Riyadh Governor in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia inaugurated the execution of bridge in the intersection of Prince Saoud ibn Abdel Aziz with Al-Takhasosi Street in Riyadh with a total cost 68 million SR. Eng. Mohsen Salah– AC Chairman declared that the project is considered the third of its type among the projects which executed by the Arab Contractors Company in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. On the Mid of the current year this project proceeded with the inauguration of the King Fahd Road intersection with Al Rawda Street in Jeddah with a total value 82 million SR; and Prince Majed Road intersection with Bani Malek Street in Jeddah with a total cost 92 million SR.
Eng.Salah added that the new bridge aimed to release the corridors and the main intersections to facilitate traffics and reduce the transportation time inside Riyadh. Besides, he pointed out that the Mayor and the Consulting Office (Aba El Kheil – Consulting Engineers) praised the work performance and thanked the company. Eng. Mobarak Ismail – Manager of the Arab Contractors Branch in Saudia stated that the project executed within 24 months only, it is consisting of two-ways bridges (700m length for each way). The bridge total length is 435m in addition to 265m for inlets and outlets; 25.5m width and has 3 lanes. The project includes the civil works related to the foundation (piles – reinforced concrete bases – pillars – beams – slabs) and the utilities – lighting – greenery – flood drainage – work site coordination.
