Minister of Transport inaugurated 1st Phase of Cairo - Fayoum Desert Road

Minister of Transport and Fayoum Governor inaugurated the first phase of increasing the efficiency and expanding the 3rd lane of Cairo - Fayoum desert road (25km) for EGP75 million. This project will contribute in accommodating the traffic density on the road. The deputy manager of highway department and the project manager declared that the project total length is 37km; total value is EGP 135 million and will be accomplished in May 2013.
