In the framework of his visits for simultaneous opening of newer markets abroad, encouraging employees to further work and production to honor the name of Egypt, Eng.Ibrahim Mahlab-President & CEO of the Arab Contractors Co. had visited The Arab Contractors O.A.O. & Co. Uganda Limited in Kampala, on June 9, 10 September 2011 on the occasion of its General Assembly, to assess its Current Status as well as its Future Outlook, aiming to ensure its presence and to engage it in a wide range of activities specially after the turnover raise, reaching $10 million a year amid fierce competition from many foreign companies.
On the other hand, Eng. Mahlab had toured the Trade Center and The Egyptian ambassador's residence in Kampala and highly praised their outstanding achievements.
He had also held a meeting with all employees, inspiring them to do their best to realize an ambitious business expansion specially over Nile Basin states that would cause Egypt's name resound abroad.
This was in the presence of Eng. Mohamed Samy Saad - Vice-President of the Arab Contractors Co. and Eng. Ashraf Rateb - head of the Africa sector.
Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab was welcomed by Eng. Arfat Abdel Wahed - Branch Manager who declared that the firm's high reputation gained in Ugandan market was the outcome of its capacity for continuous improvement and innovation as well as its high quality achievement level within specific time period since its inception in 1997.
Just two weeks ago, the company won a bid of $10 million from Uganda's Ministry of Local Government to build a trading market and the preparation of project launch has already begun, announced Eng. Arfat.
