Arab Contractors set a good model of Egypt abroad:
Touring its headquarters, Dr. Essam Sharaf, Prime Minister of Egypt, checked Fishtown City Project, which comprises 5000 housing units, held by the Arab Contractors Company in Equatorial Guinea, praising its high performance .
Dr.Essam Sharaf said that the Arab Contractors Company as well as the Egyptian workers in Equatorial Guinea set a good model of Egypt abroad. The Egyptian company has successfully carried out projects which some international companies could not afford.
Mr.TEODORO OBIANG NGUEMA – President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea granted AC the Medal of Merit in recognition of its efforts in the construction of infra-structure, housing, and hospitals projects in Equatorial Guinea. AC had accepted Mr.OBIANG's invitation to participate in African Union Summit held in the capital Malabo late last June.
During his tour the prime Minister was accompanied by Ambassador Fayza Abul-Naga - Minister of International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohamed Orabi - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Maher Baddar - Ambassador of Egypt in Equatorial Guinea.
The Prime Minister and his entourage were welcomed by Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab, President & CEO of the Arab Contractors Co., who declared that The Arab Contractors Company in Guinea was established in 2003 by Egyptian-Guinean partnership, starting with 1.5 billion dollars Turnover. Eng. Mahlab stated that the company currently employs 738 Egyptian workers and 1,407 Guinean, as well.
Eng. Ashraf Rateb – Deputy Member of the Arab Contractors Equatorial Guinea LTA and Eng. Ibrahim Mabrouk – the General Manager, pointed that, during the Fishtown City Tour, the Prime Minister was greeted with a warm welcome from Egyptian and Ghinean workers, chanting “Raise your head up high, you're Egyptian” , " Long live Egypt", in an emotional scene reflecting the brotherhood between the two fraternal peoples.
