A ceremony under the auspices of Sultan bin Hamdoon al Harthi, Chairman of Muscat Municipality honored the Arab Contractors’ staff and recognize their safety achievement . Besides; he awarded the “Shield Of Excellence” to Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab – President and CEO of the Arab Contractors Company for posting a major safety milestone on Muscat Wastewater Project in Al Maabela South by recording five million working hours without ‘lost time incident’.
The Arab Contractors company was committed to put utmost importance to safety and adhere to safety measures while working by providing a healthy work environment. Besides; AC commitment towards completing the project as scheduled and according to the standard quality systems to benefit from this project as much as possible.
Muscat Wastewater Project in Al Maabela South consists of a 177 km long gravity based network for the collection of wastewater. It also includes sub lines and connections that connect about 6,452 houses. Besides; a 47 km treated water network and 400 km long fibre optic network. The project total value is RO 58 million.
