On Saturday 23rd July of 2009, Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab - President and CEO of the Arab Contractors Company and his accompanied delegation met with Ghana President - John Atta Mills in the presidential headquarters in Accra.
The delegation members were Eng. Nouh Meshref – Vice President for Execution & Technical Affairs, Eng. Medhat Askar – Head of Africa Sector, Mr. Emad Ebeid – Head of the Financial Affairs in Africa Sector, Mr. Sam Brew Butler – the Ghanaian Partner and Board Member of the Arab Contractors Ghana Ltd. and Mr. Seif Allah Nosseir – the Egyptian Ambassador to Ghana.
The Ghanaian President warmly welcomed the company delegation and appreciated the executed projects by AC in Ghana. Besides; he stressed on the necessity of the South-South cooperation. Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab called for resuming the company's presence in Ghana and confirmed his proud to work in Ghana which has strong historical relation with Egypt. Eng. Mahlab said that we are strengthening our presence through tendering in a huge project to build hospitals in several Ghanaian cities and it is an honor to participate in the infrastructure projects in Ghana.
