Mr. I. Mahlab, CEO of AC and the representative of the French consortium signed the contract for the Third Line of Cairo Metro, Mr. Saad Shehatah head of National Tunneling Authority. The ceremony took place on sunday the 29th of April.
Prime Minister ahmed Nazif, the Minister of Transport and Minister of international cooperation of Egypt attended the inauguration. The French Minister of foreign trade attended the ceremony as well.
The arab Contractors, OCI, BOUYGUE and VINCI were contracted the civil portion while AMEC SPIE and The Arab Contractors were contracted Electromechanical works of the project.
The project is 4.3 Km long and links el-Attaba area to el-Abasia.
