Eng. Ahmed El Assar - Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, met with Mr. Manfredi Lefebvre d'Ovidio – Chairman of World Travel and Tourism Council, on the sidelines of his visit to Cairo. This took place in the presence of Eng. Heba Abu El Ella - Vice Chairman, Eng. Hassan Ibraheem - Board Member, Eng. Osama El Desouki - Executive Board Member and Head of the Manufacturing Sector, and Eng. Alaa Abdel Hamid – Manager of Massara Shipyard Department. They discussed ways of joint cooperation, and explored opportunities to support the Nile tourism sector, as well as ways to benefit from the industrial expertise and capabilities of the Arab Contractors Company, especially in the field of manufacturing floating hotels and tourist river units. On the sidelines of the meeting, the guest inspected the floating hotel manufacturing projects being implemented within Massara Shipyard, accompanied by Mr. Amr Badr - Chairman of Abercrombie & Kent Egypt and the Middle East, Mrs. Dalia Khater - CEO of the company, where they listened to an explanation about the technical and technological capabilities that the shipyard possesses in the fields of building and repairing marine units, and what it includes in terms of advanced workshops and equipment that contribute to the implementation of various marine and tourism projects according to the highest quality standards. Mr. Manfredi Lefebvre d’Ovidio praised the industrial and technical capabilities of Massara Shipyard and the accumulated expertise of the Arab Contractors Company in the field of manufacturing marine units and floating hotels, stressing the importance of joint cooperation in supporting and developing the Nile tourism sector.
