As part of their strategic partnership, Arab Contractors and Pharco International signed a new contract addendum aimed at developing mechanisms for joint cooperation and supporting the implementation of the project to establish an integrated pharmaceutical factory in the industrial zone of Al Madinah Al Munawwarah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, adhering to the latest standards.
The addendum was signed by Eng. Ahmed El Assar –Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, and Dr. Sherine Helmy - Chairman of Pharco International.
This addendum builds upon the successful collaboration between the two companies, updating several technical and organizational clauses to enhance performance efficiency and accelerate project completion.
Both parties affirmed that this step represents a significant boost towards the completion of the project, which is considered a qualitative leap in the pharmaceutical and infrastructure sectors.
It is worth noting that Arab Contractors and Pharco International previously signed a contract to construct the integrated pharmaceutical factory in the industrial zone of Al Madinah Al Munawwarah worth SAR 155 million. Arab Contractors won the contract to execute the project amidst strong competition from several major companies.
The first and second phases of the factory are built on an area of 20,000 m2, including a production building with an area of 4,000 m2, warehouse buildings of 3,500 m2, service buildings of 1,500 m2, an administrative building of 3,000 m2, a mosque of 2,000 m2, in addition to 3 tanks (water, fire and fuel), site works, and a chemical treatment plant.
