The Minister of Labor visits the Arab Contractors Company's work site in Qatar and meets with workers, engineers, and company leaders

Minister of Labor Mohammed Gibran visited the construction site of a residential complex at Bin Mahmoud area in Doha, being implemented by Qatar Arab Contractors Company. He met with Egyptian engineers, workers, and company leaders, in the presence of Ambassador Walid Al Faqi - Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Doha. The visit coincides with Egypt's participation in the 6th Islamic Conference, held in the Qatari capital, Doha, on Wednesday and Thursday. During the visit, the Minister of Labor urged the workers to exert their utmost effort and excel at their work, as they are their country's ambassadors abroad. The Minister emphasized his appreciation for Egyptian workers and engineers. He also praised the significant growth witnessed by the construction sector in Qatar, and the opportunity for Egyptian companies to participate and contribute through a major Egyptian construction company, the Arab Contractors Company. Eng. Ashraf El Desouky - Managing Director of Qatar Arab Contractors Company, conveyed to the Minister and his companions the greetings of Eng. Ahmed El Assar - Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, stressing that this project is a strong building block in completing the successes achieved by the company in Qatar, the latest of which was the company receiving 2 awards from "MEED" for its most recently completed projects, namely: Mirad Tower project in Dafna area, consisting of 2 basements, a ground floor, and 31 floors, which won the award for the best building for the year 2023 in the Middle East, and the British King's College School in Mesaimeer area, which won the award for the best educational building for the year 2024 in the Middle East and North Africa. It's worth noting that Qatar Arab Contractors Company implemented Water Pipeline Extension Project for Kahramaa in Doha in 2017, Mirad Tower, Dafna area in Doha in 2021, and a food warehouse, office building, and residential buildings in Al Wakra Logistics Zone in 2022. Among its most recent projects is the construction of King's College at Mesaimeer area in Doha.
