It’s worth noting that the tunnel boring machine “TBM” is 100 meters long and weighs 685 tons, while the diameter of its front shield is 6.7m. The 477 concrete rings that make up the tunnel's body have been installed. The tunnel's outer diameter is 6.4 m, while its inner diameter is 5.8 m. These concrete rings are manufactured at the Arab Contractors Company Concrete Ring Factory located on the project site.
