Eng. Abdel Mottaleb Emara - Governor of Luxor inaugurated the wastewater project of Al Raziqat Bahri village in Armant, south of Luxor, which was implemented by the Arab Contractors Company as part of the presidential initiative “Decent Life”.
The opening was attended by Dr. Hesham Abu Zeid - Deputy Governor, Major General Dr. Hesham Al Shemi - Assistant Secretary of Luxor Governorate, Major General Ahmed Ramadan - Chairman of Luxor Water and Wastewater Company, Eng. Abdullah Bakri – Construction Manager at the National Authority of Potable Water and Sewage (NOPWASD), and a number of popular and executive leaders.
From the Arab Contractors Company, the inauguration was attended by Eng. Mansour Shehata - Manager of South Valley Branch, who is implementing the works, Eng. Mohamed Hassan Al Adisi - Deputy Manager of South Valley Branch, and Eng. Ahmed Abdel Nasser – Manager of Luxor and Armant Projects.
It is noteworthy that the station operates with a wet and dry system, a septic tank with a diameter of 12 m, a design capacity of 300 l/s, and 4 pumps with a pump capacity of 150 l/s. It serves approximately 20 thousand people, and consists of gravity networks with a length of 10.5 km, and a force main with a length of 0.4 km.
