Eng. Mohamed Shimy - Minister of the Public Business Sector inspected the implementation works of Spinning Factory 6 in El Mahalla Al Koubra, which is being implemented by the Arab Contractors Company. The implementation rate of the factory reached about 65%.
The visit was attended by Dr. Ahmed Shaker - Executive Managing Director of the Holding Company for Spinning and Weaving, Eng. Ahmed Badr - Chairman of El Mahalla Spinning and Weaving Company, Eng. Tarek Khedr – AC Executive Board Member of the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Osama Nawar - AC Executive Board Member and Head of Delta and Marine Structures Sector, Eng. Sayed El Shahat - Manager of East and Central Delta Branch, Eng. Osama Yaken –Manager of the Maritime Shipyard Department, and Eng. Hamed El Bagoury - Project Manager.
The Minister and the accompanying delegation inspected all the ongoing implementation phases in the factory with an area of 20,000 m2. The factory consists of a production hall with an area of 16,000 m2, including reinforced concrete humidification tunnels with a length of about 4,000 m, a metal structure, electromechanical works, and 2 service strips with an area of 4,000 m2, including 6 humidification stations and 6 administrative and service buildings. The Minister stressed the importance of adhering to all quality control standards in implementing the project and following all safety and occupational health procedures.
The Minister concluded the visit by thanking the Arab Contractors Company, which implemented the works, and the consultants. He stated that the ministry is ready to support the projects that prove successful in management and implementation to overcome any obstacles.
