The Nigerian President inaugurates an axis implemented by the Arab Contractors

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu - President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, accompanied by Mr. Nyesom Wike - Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), and a group of senior officials, inaugurated one of the bridge projects, which represents one of the axes connecting between the east and west of the Nigerian capital, Abuja, which was implemented by Arab Contractors (OAO) Nigeria Ltd. Company.
During the opening ceremony, the Nigerian President pointed out the importance of this project as it represents a great addition to Nigerian citizens and emphasizes the government’s interest in infrastructure projects that facilitate citizens’ life and make it safer.
For his part, Eng. Ahmed El Assar – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, explained that this project in the Nigerian capital represents one of the projects implemented by the company there. He expressed his happiness at the completion of this important project, pointing to the Nigerian President’s praise of the quality of work and the company’s commitment to accomplish the project according to the defined time schedule. Eng. El Assar added that the Arab Contractors exists in Nigeria since 1990, it is one of the company’s first branches in Africa.
Eng. Mohamed Al Aidaros - Managing Director of Arab Contractors (OAO) Nigeria Ltd. Company, indicated that the project includes the construction of a bridge with a length of 90 meters intersecting with the Ring Road. The axis includes concrete works with a quantity of 7,800 m3, connecting road works with a length of 2 km with an amount of dust of 200,000 m3, and asphalt works with a surface area of 40,000 m2, a surface layer and a connecting  layer and agricultural works with an area of 30,000 m2 and all the necessary lighting works for the axis.
He added that the importance of this axis lies in linking the east of Abuja with its west, ending traffic congestion on the old axes, and directly facilitating traffic between the capital’s neighborhoods.
On the other hand, the General Assembly of Arab Contractors (OAO) Nigeria Ltd. Company was held in the presence of Eng. Ahmed El Assar – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, accompanied by Dr. Mohamed Onsi Elbeshouty – AC Vice Chairman, Mr. Emad Ebeid –Supervisor of the Financial Sector for Africa Sector, Eng. Mohammed Al Aidarous – Managing Director of the Nigerian Company, Eng. Wael Farouk - the company's General Manager  and Mr. Khaled Seif - Financial Manager, in the presence of the Nigerian partner.
