Arab Contractors implements Saaka Road & Bridge to save the Ugandan people

Eng. Ahmed El Assar - CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, announced that the company in Uganda has completed Saaka Road and Bridge project, which passes through a swamp area in which there is Mpologoma River, which is witnessing floods that cut the road off between a number of important cities in eastern Uganda. Last year, it caused the death of 28 Ugandan citizens. Eng. Ahmed El Assar added that, in accordance with the presidential instructions of the State of Uganda, to protect the lives of citizens from the flood, the Arab Contractors Company hastened to complete the project and save Pallisa Kaliro Road, 11 months ahead of schedule, amidst great praise from local officials, officials of the Uganda National Roads Authority, and residents of those areas, due to the speed of response and the work quality. Eng. Mohamed Tolba – Managing Director of Arab Contractors Uganda Limited, and Eng. Salah Radwan – General Manager of the company, pointed out that the project consists of a road passing through a dense swamp with a length of 4.5 km and a bridge crossing the Ambulugoma River. The project also includes 10 other industrial works. This project represents one of the works implemented by the Arab Contractors Company in Uganda.
