Eng. Ahmed El Assar – CEO & Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, announced that the Arab Contractors Company Uganda Limited was awarded the best visionary international building and housing construction company in 2023 for the sixth year, respectively due to the company's important role in the field of construction, including roads, bridges, hospitals, educational facilities, and administrative buildings, amid praise for the company’s outstanding performance in the projects that have been implemented in terms of quality and commitment to time schedules, in addition to the progress of a number of its ongoing projects ahead of the approved time programs, which indicates the tight and advanced system in managing its projects.
The Deputy Prime Minister and a number of Ugandan ministers handed over the award to Eng. Mohammad Tolba - Managing Director of Arab Contractors Uganda Limited Company, Eng. Hamdi Hashim – Manager of Technical Affairs for Roads and Bridges Works, and Eng. Sherif Metwally – Manager of Aga Khan University Project, during the ceremony held in the Ugandan capital, Kampala. The ceremony was organized by the National Planning Authority for Vision 2040, which is responsible for organizing this competition every year in partnership with the Ugandan government.
It is worth noting that the Arab Contractors Uganda Limited Company is currently implementing the internal roads project for the cities of Pallisa and Koomi worth $35 million, the design and implementation of the Saka Bridge worth $18 million, and Aga Khan University worth $17.5 million.
