In the presence of General Commander of the Libyan National Army Khalifa Haftar, the Arab Contractors Company participated in the International Conference for the Reconstruction of Stricken City of Derna and Neighboring Cities and Towns, which was held today in Derna. The conference was attended by Dr. Osama Hammad - the Libyan Prime Minister, Ambassador Ahmed El Hamshari, the Egyptian Consul in Benghazi, and a number of ambassadors and representatives of 132 Arab and foreign companies. The conference aims to provide support and assistance in removing the effects of the hurricane that struck Derna and the eastern side of Libya and providing the proposed visions and scenarios for the reconstruction of those areas.
Eng. Ayman Attia gave the company’s speech and provided a presentation on the proposed projects as models for reconstruction. The company’s delegation, which includes Eng. Hassan Moustafa –Board Member of the Arab Contractors, Eng. Yasser Abdel Aal – Executive Board Member, Eng. Raafat Al-Mahrouqi – Libya Branch Manager, and Mr. Moustafa Tolba – Fianancial Manager of Libya Branch, held several important meetings with senior Libyan officials, led by Dr. Osama Hammad – the Libyan Prime Minister, who welcomed the company’s presence in the international conference to benefit from its expertise and capabilities in reconstruction.
