As part of the follow-up of the work of the General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone, which is being implemented under the supervision of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority, Lieutenant General Eng. Kamel Al-Wazir - Minister of Transport, visited Al-Arish Port, where he inspected the work of the marine pier and the main breakwater of the port. He was received by Eng. Ayman Attya – Board Member of the Arab Contractors, Eng. Alaa Shalaby - Member of the Executive Board of the Company, Eng. Mohamed Nazih - Deputy Manager of Alexandria Branch, Eng. Khaled Abdel Aziz - Manager of Marine Works Projects, and Eng. Ahmed Amer - Project Manager of Al Arish Port, where the Arab Contractors Company, through Alexandria Branch, implements the project to develop Al-Arish Port, which consists of:
1- A berth with a length of 250 meters consisting of a composite section of pipes (diameter 1.40 m) and curtain panels with a draught of 12 meters. The implementation has been completed 100%.
2- The main breakwater has a length of 1250 meters and consists of a pile breaker made of graded stones and concrete blocks of different weights, with depths up to (-12 meters). The barrier was implemented by 99%.
3- The secondary barrier, with a length of 500 meters, is composed of stepping stones and concrete blocks of different weights. The implementation has been 100% completed.
