Major General Ihab Al Far – Chairman of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces inspected the Parliament Building in the New Administrative Capital which is carried out by the Arab Contractors Company under the supervision of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces. He was accompanied by Major General Mohamed Moustafa Abu Labn – Director of the Military Works Department, Major General Mohamed Saad Zaghloul – Assistant Commander of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Aly Abdel Moanim - Military Works Department, Eng. Tarek Safy – Project Management Director in the Arab Contractors Company and Eng. Ahmed Mohamed Mahmoud – Executive Manager . It is a noteworthy that the Parliament Building consists of the main building, the services building and the landscape works includes the fences, internal roads and the green areas. The main building is built on 18000m out of 108 thousands m2 which is the total building area; it includes a main hall which accommodates 1000 member, administrative offices; it comprises a basement, a ground floor, 8 typical floors, 2 domes with 52m and 57m diameter. The project includes services buildings of: medical center – security– power station– electromechanical – firefighting - garages accommodates 1500 cars.
