Eng. Sayed Farouk – CEO & Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company inspected number of the national projects which is carried out by the company. He started the inspection tour with El Salam Bridge in 10thof Ramadan Bus Station. It is a parallel bridge to El Salam Tunnel and launched within the Transport Ministry’s plan to expand a ring road around Cairo. It is1355m length and 30m width. He was accompanied by Eng. Hassan Moustafa – Head of Bridges and Foundation Sector. Eng. Sayed inspected Adly Mansour Station which is among the company’s works in LRT project. It is the first station of the LRT which extends to the New Administrative Capital. He reviewed the implementation rates. On the other hand, Eng. Sayed Farouk visited the project of the development of el Wahat Main Road in 6 October city. He witnessed the tunneling works with 800m length. It serves the comer from El Wahat Road ahead to the Ring Road. The project includes the implementation of 800m bridge serving the comer from the Ring Road ahead to El Wahat/El Fayoum Road with a cost of L.E. 800 million. It is considered part of the development project of the main axes in 6 October City. He was accompanied Eng. Ihab Gamal –Project Management Director and Eng. Hany Zaki – Deputy Manager of Bridges Department. Finally, the Chairman inspected Monorail Project – 6 October City Line which serves the huge expansions in the city and expands till Giza with 43km length. It is considered a modern mass transit for the first time in Egypt. The monorail is a railway in which the track consists of a single rail on straddle concrete beam. It achieves a journey time equal to the time of the car's journey without stopping. The project includes 12 stations: New October -Industrial Area – El Saddat – 6th of October City Authority – Engineers Association– Nile University – Hyper One – Cairo/Alexandria Desert Road - Mansoureya –Maryotea - Ring Road – Wadi El Nile; in addition to the Depot location near the Industrial Area of 80 feddans approximately. He was accompanied by Eng. Hassan Moustafa –Head of Bridges and Foundation Sector and Eng. Mohamed Ramadan - Project Management Director.
