Eng. Sayed Farook – CEO and President of the Arab Contractors Company inspected the development project of the main axes in 6 October City. He received by Eng. Hassan Moustafa – Head of Bridges and Foundation Sector and Eng. Ihab Gamal – Project Managing Director who declared that 35% of the project which include a tunnel with 800m length serving the comer from Oases Road heading to the Ring Road. Besides, it includes a bridge with 800m length that serves the comer from the Ring Road heading to El Wahat/El Fayoum Road. He pointed out that the project total cost is 800 million EGP and considered part of the development project of the main axes in 6 October City.
On the other hand, Eng. Sayed Farook and Eng. Ibrahim Mabrouk – AC Board Member visited Cairo Monorail Project - 6 of October City Line which serves the huge expansions in 6 October City. It extends from Giza to 6 of October City. The project is a modern mass transit for the first time in Egypt. The monorail is a railway in which the track consists of a single rail on straddle concrete beam. It achieves a journey time equal to the time of the car's journey without stopping. The route is 43 km in length and has 12 stations which are: New October - Industrial Area – El Saddat – 6 October City Authority – Engineers Association – Nile University – Hyper One – Cairo/Alexandria Desert Road - Mansoureya – Maryotea - Ring Road – Wadi El Nile; in addition to the Depot location near the Industrial Area of 80 feddans approximately, as stated by Eng. Mohamed Ramadan the Project Manager.
