Eng. Sayed Farook – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company inspected the company projects in LRT which includes New Heliopolis and Al Roubiki Stations, and the Capital Bridge 2. He was accompanied by Eng. Eman Soliman and Eng. Ahmed Abbass – AC Board Members, Eng. Tarek Khedr – Head of Construction Sector, Eng. Mohamed Lasheen – Manager of Cairo Branch which is carrying out New Heliopolis Station, Eng. Mohamed Ibrahim - Manager of Nasr City Branch which is carrying out Al Roubiki Station, Eng. Ali Abdel Samd – Manager of Civil Works Department, Eng. Tarek Marzouk – Manager of Sanitation and Finishing Department and Eng. Hassan Ibrahim – Manager of JVs Department.
It is noteworthy that New Heliopolis Station is located on the route of kilo AKP33 094. It is the fifth station from the start of the LRT’s track at Adly Mansour, and serves the El Shorouk City. New Heliopolis Station is built upon 54,530m2, the structures area is 6330m2 and the buildings total area is 48200m2, as declared by Eng. Mohamed Fathy – Manager of the Station Projects.
Al Roubiki Station is located on the route of kilo AKP42 920. It is the seventh station from the start of the LRT’s track at Adly Mansour, and serves the Al Roubiki City. Its total area is 55374m2, the structures and buildings area is 6700m2. The total area of the car parks, internal roads and green areas is 48674m2, as stated by Eng. Hassan Ghenia – Projects Manager and Eng. Ahmed Shehab – Construction Manager of the Station Project.
Eng. Sayed Farouk inspected the project of Capital Bridge 2, he listened to an explanation from Eng. Abdel Hay Badawy – Deputy Manager of the Bridges Department and Eng. Hazem Hassan – Project Manager. The total length of the bridges is 2800m; it consists of 90 axes from concrete and steel spans. The bridge is linking the route of LRT which extends besides the Regional Ring Road with LRT station of the Capital2.
By the end of the tour, the CEO stressed on the necessity of being committed to the highest quality and safety standards in the work implementation and adhering to the time schedule.
