Eng. Sayed Farook – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company stated that the Speaker of Uganda's Parliament accompanied a delegation of the Minister of Public Works, number of governors and parliamentary members to visit roads projects in Pallisa which is carried out by Arab Contractors. He pointed out that the importance of this visit to inspect the various projects carried out by the company in Uganda which includes roads and different buildings.
Eng. Ibrahim Mabrouk – AC Board Member declared that the Ugandan officials listened to an explanation at the beginning of the visit about the projects carried out by the Arab Contractors Company in Pallisa, such as: Terini –Pallisa Koomi with a length of 67km, total value 80 million US$ and completion rate 80%; Pallisa-Kamankoli Road which is 44km length, total value 60 million US$ and completion rate 82%; in addition to Masaka-Boukakata project with 41km length, total value 45 million US$ and completion rate 60%. Then, the Speaker of Uganda's Parliament and the delegation visited the projects accompanied by Mohammed Tolba – Managing Director of Ugandan Arab Contractors Company and Eng. Salah Radwan – General Manager of Ugandan Arab Contractors Company. She praised the quality, high performance and facility capabilities the huge range of rigging and different equipment and the company's potential in terms of huge equipment including a breaker, various equipment and two asphalt and concrete plants.
At the end of the visit, the Speaker of Uganda's Parliament pointed out that the Arab Contractors Company is a main partner in the development of Uganda. She referred to the social role of the company during the work execution. She directed that the AC should be assigned more projects in recognition of the distinguished level that qualify it as the best contracting company in Uganda for 2 years consecutively and considering the 2 road projects in Pallisa a model for the contracting companies in Uganda.
