Eng. Mohsen Salah – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company inspects the work progress in number of projects which is implemented by the company under the supervision of the Engineering Authority; it includes the bridges of Al Tayran, Al Amiriya and Al Marghani. The objective is to assure that the work progress is regularly and efficiently, and reassuring that all precautionary measures were taken among workers to prevent the spread of Novel Coronavirus, it is at the top of priorities for the political leadership. It is a noteworthy that Al Tayran Bridge with the intersection of Autostrad Road is among the development works of East Cairo to accommodate the traffic density in Nasr City’s squares to be without intersections and eliminate the traffic congestion on Al Tayran Street and the intersection of Autostrad at Martyr Hesham Barakat Square. Thus, it will contribute on the traffic flow and reduce the travel time. The total length of the bridge is 250m, it accommodates 3 lanes on each direction, with total width 20m. Al Amiriya Bridge is considered one of the national projects which will contribute on achieving traffic liquidity in the Capital; it comes within the governmental plan to develop the squares of Heliopolis. It will eliminate the traffic congestion in the intersections of Al Amiriya Square and serves the comer from the Water Utility Street heading to Al Sawah Street. Besides, there is outlet towards the extension of Port Said Street at the direction of Al Cablat Street; consequenlty, there will be traffic liquidity on the surface level. The total length of the bridge is 630m approx. and 3-lanes width. Moreover, the Chairman inspected Al Marghani Bridge Project with the intersection of Al Orouba. It is consisting of cars bridge with a length of 600m, width of 23m and 4 lanes in each direction. Eng. Mohsen Salah – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company was accompanied with Eng. Aly Abdel Samd – Manager of Civil Works Department.
