H.H Prime Minister – Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab inaugurated El Agami Wastewater Project with a total cost EGP 600 million. Besides, he toured the Development Works of Sidi Gaber Station, Expansion of Mohram Bek Bridge and the 7th Sector.
H.H. Prime Minister toured the development works of Sidi Gaber and its annexed mall (with a total cost EGP 225 million). In addition to these, he inaugurated El Agami Wastewater Project serving 1200 Hectare, 800,000 persons benefit from it and its total cost reached EGP 600 million.
The deputy branch manager stated that the project scope of work includes the execution of gravity networks with varied diameter from 250mm to 1800mm in addition to a main gravity pipeline for 8km, main manhole which is considered one of the huge manholes in the Middle East its drainage capacity is 276.000m³/day diameter 24m and 32m depth. Then, the Prime Minister and his companions visited the expansion project of Mohram Bek Bridge to be inaugurated on 20th October 2014 with a total cost EGP 35 million. The project scope of work is the bridge expansion to accommodate 3-lanes, the bridge total length 1100m. He asserted that the works of the eastern phase including asphalt, walls, lighting pillars and borders. The work is on-going in the western phase. Concerning the 7th sector works; 9 out of 10 bridges are accomplished. Besides the implementation of Aboul Kheir Higher Bridge and the utilities will be transformed to launch the works on it.
Moreover, the Prime Minister toured the 7th Sector works in Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road which start at Al Amiria Fee Accumulation Gate on kilo 190 till Alexandria Entry (a total length 30km) with a total cost 1 billion and 65 million EGP. The works include 10 bridges, 3 higher bridges and 5 pedestrian bridges. 9 bridges are accomplished starting from the fee gate till Alexandria Entry, on the other side the work is undergoing in 5 parallel areas.
