The first phase of the Greater Cairo Metro 3rd line inaugurated today. Eng. Mahlab stated that the project is one of the mega joint ventures of the company. AC contributes in this project with its workers in the work execution and through its departments in the implementation of the civil, electromechanical and finishing works. The Metro Project's consortium includes Vinci, Bouygues, Colas Rail, Alstom and Orascom.
Now AC owned diaphragm walls equipment which will be used in Tahrir Park Project.
It is noteworthy that the first phase of the 3rd line include 5km underpass with 9.8m linking maintenance workshops in Abbassiya crossing 5 stations: Abbassiya, Abdou Pasha, Bab Al Shaeria and Attaba which is linking station between the 2nd and 3rd line.
