Prime minister Dr. Ahmed Nazif gave the signal to start the works for the first phase of Cairo Metro Line 3. This phase is 4.3 Km in length
and covers the area from Ataba to El-abasiah. The ceremony was attended by many ministers of the Egyptian government and with Eng. Mahlab CEO of A.C. The project will be carried out through a partnership between the Arab Contractors, VINCI, Bouygue and
Orascom. The project duration is 48 months.
