Dr. Eng. Ahmed El-Adalany serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of The Arab Contractors Company and Supervisor of Technical Affairs, following a progressive career within the company during which he acquired extensive experience in project management, technical affairs, risk and crisis management, as well as claims and arbitration in the field of construction projects.
Dr. El-Adalany has earned numerous academic and professional qualifications, including a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in collaboration with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, specializing in Crisis Management, where he graduated first in his February 2022 class. He also obtained a Diploma in Risk and Crisis Management from Missouri State University, USA. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb) in London and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), Pennsylvania, of which he has been a member since 3 November 2011.
He also obtained a Professional Doctorate degree from the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Statistical Research, Cairo University, in 2025. His research focused on studying the application of modern techniques in risk and crisis management within the contracting industry and their relationship to increasing the profitability of contracting companies. He conducted a case study on Arab Contractors Company. He also obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Cairo University in 2025 with a grade of Very Good, achieving a score of 73.72%.
Throughout his career, Dr. El-Adalany has held several key positions within The Arab Contractors Company and has contributed significantly to numerous important projects. He served as Director of the Central Support Department for Branches, Departments, and Independent Projects from November 2021 to April 2023, and as Secretary of the Company’s Supreme Compensation Committee (under Law No. 84 of 2017 from January 2019 to April 2023. He also served as Commercial Director of the Cairo Monorail Project from September 2019 to November 2021, Deputy Director of Technical Affairs for the Bridges and Specialized Constructions Department from May 2018 to September 2019, and Claims and Arbitration Manager for the Bridges and Specialized Constructions Department from July 2016 to May 2018.
Additionally, he was Technical Affairs Manager for the Port Said Tunnels Project from October 2015 to June 2016, Executive Council Member of the North Delta Branch from March 2015 to October 2015, Claims and Arbitration Manager of the North Delta Branch from September 2014 to October 2015, Deputy Chairman of the Future Leaders Council for the Alexandria Branch from January 2012 to October 2015, Technical Affairs Manager for the Silos Projects in Borg El Arab from June 2012 to September 2014, Technical Affairs Manager for the Marassi EMAAR Projects from March 2009 to June 2012, and Technical Office Manager for the Damietta Port Project from May 2007 to March 2009.
Dr. El-Adalany’s professional excellence has been recognized through multiple local and regional awards, including Engineer of the Year 2022 in Egypt by MEED Magazine, being shortlisted for the Rising Star Award – Middle East 2022 by Construction Week, and receiving a Highly Commended certificate in the Construction Professional of the Year category at the Big 5 Egypt Impact Awards for 2024 and 2025 consecutively.
