Eng. Mohamed Elwy has more than 25 years of experience in the fields of building, construction, planning, and managing major projects and implementing bridges, foundations, tunnels, roads, hospitals, and civil facilities in many important projects.

He participated in many important national projects such as: the New Parliament and the Islamic Cultural Center in the New Administrative Capital, Monorail Station at 6th October, Al Galala Tourist Resort , Treatment Station west of 6th October City, Mosque in El Sherouq City - Cleopatra Hospital, Investment Bank, Smart Village, Main office of the General Attorney, Principal Bank For Development and Agriculture Credit (Main Branch & Katamia Branch ), state Authority Cases, Faculty of Archaeology at Cairo University, Cairo University Library, infrastructure at the Smart Village, Movenpick hotel (the presidential suite-6th October City), Faculty of computer science at Cairo university and Egypt Air’s engineering base project.

Prior to assuming his current position, he served as the Head of Greater Cairo Sector and Executive Board Member of the Arab Contractors Company (from April 2022 to January 2025). He held several leadership positions, including Head of Helwan Sector and Distinguished Buildings Department (April 2021 - April 2022), Manager of the Distinguished Buildings Department (April 2017 - April 2021), Deputy Manager of Distinguished Buildings Department (November 2011 - April 2017), Projects Manager (2000 - 2012), Site Manager (February 2001 - June 2001), and Site Construction Engineer (from 1/2/1999 to 11/2000).

Education:

Master’s degree in construction engineering management (2010).
BSc in Civil Engineering, Ain Shams University (1992).
